Culinary Architecture is a refreshingly new addition in kitchen furniture design. Its founder Heidi Westcar, who has worked for many years as a leading designer for both Smallbone of Devizes and Chalon, brings her wealth of experience and understanding of bespoke English cabinetry to create beautiful timeless interiors. Her philosophy towards kitchen design is to create comfortable practical spaces that strongly reference the client’s individual style and taste and ultimately make a wonderful first impression.
Heidi, given her background in Interior Design, approaches each design holistically whereby careful consideration is given to the architectural style of the home, light, and reference to its surrounding. All practical details such as flooring, soft furnishings, and lighting are discussed and can be included.
Given the fact she is a self proclaimed perfectionist she fully manages all her projects individually and collaborates very closely with the workshop to ensure her exacting standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail are maintained. Her team of bespoke cabinet makers, installers and hand painters are all fully experienced and contribute to providing a high level of professional service.
Finally, Culinary Architecture is not taking the typical path of expensive showrooms and costly advertising, thus offering a much more cost effective solution to the high end kitchen market.
